The INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL COACHING CLINIC it’s a five days event wich includes lectures with top Portuguese speakers, technical visits to the elite football training academies in Portugal and also practical sessions on the pitch!
Promoted by one of the most prestegious Football Coaches Association in Europe, the Portuguese Football Coaches Association, you are garanteed that only the best will be offered to you!
In five days you will have the opportunity to up-date your knoledge about football coaching as well as to get to know one of the most successful football cultures – the portuguese way of coaching football!
In the first edition of this event, more then 40 coaches from 15 different countrys were present and toke the best out of this experience!

The Portuguese Football Federation headquarters, the Cidade do Futebol boasts a technical centre, including a 340-capacity stadium, two full-size natural pitches, a set of dressing rooms equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Lecturers

João Aroso is a UEFA Pro certified coach who acted as Assistant Coach of the Portuguese Man’s National Team having worked with players such as C. Ronaldo, Nani, Ricardo Quaresma and many others. More recently he coached the B team of SC Braga.

João Aroso

Professor of the Faculty of Sports at the University of Porto since 1987, in 1997 he completed his PhD in Sport Sciences. He was a collaborator of FC Porto and Sporting CP, in the scope of observation and interpretation of the Football game. Since 2010, he has played the same role in the AA National Team of Portugal, with presence in the final stages of Euro 2012, in Poland / Ukraine, and in the World Cup, Brazil 2014.

Júlio Garganta

João Tralhão is a UEFA Pro certified coach with experience in clubs such as AS Monaco FC and SL Benfica. In SL Benfica he achieved the Final of the UEFA Youth League! In SL Benfica he had the opportunity to coach players such as Bernardo Silva, João Félix, Renato Sanchez, André Gomes and many, many other great talents. More recently he was invited by Thierry Henry to be his assistant coach at AS Monaco FC.

João Tralhão

Nuno Cerdeira has been a strength and conditioning coach since 2009. He is currently Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Portuguese Football Club, FC Porto. He has a sport science degree, as well as sports science certifications from the National Strength Conditioning Association, Harvard Medical School and Barcelona HUB. He is currently working with soccer players and Olympic athletes (Tokyo 2020 project).

Nuno Cerdeira

Foccer Coach and Coach Educator with extensive experience in Portugal and Nordic countries. Between 2009-2017, Ricardo worked in 2 different Universities in Portugal conceiving, leading and teaching football-related matters, where he influenced many young talented football coaches who are now working in youth and professional football worldwide. Between 2017-2019 Ricardo worked in Finland, first as assistant coach of Finnish Premier League and as Head of Coach Education of FA of Finland.
